What FinManager accesses

SMS messages and notifications, but only from senders/apps you've explicitly added to Trusted Sources. Bank statement PDFs you choose to import, plus any password you enter to unlock them — used only in memory, never stored. Manually entered transactions.

How this data is used

Extracted transaction data is classified and stored in a local database on your device, purely to generate your spending reports. That's the only use.

What FinManager does not do

It does not send any of your data anywhere — there is no backend, no analytics SDK, and no advertising SDK. It does not read anything from senders you haven't trusted, and does not access contacts, call log, or location.

Your controls

Revoke SMS access any time from Android Settings. Remove a trusted sender any time from Import → Manage Trusted Senders. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data — there is no copy anywhere else.
